As usual the worldwide mainstream media is asleep or deceptively unwilling to present the truth about Iraq. When you read the above cited analysis, you will get a glimpse of what is really happening in Iraq. Why is this important??? Yes it does point to past failures in US foreign policy; and more importantly it provides the basis for arguing that present US foreign policy towards the Middle East is far worse.

Put succinctly, present US foreign policy towards the Middle East (Arab Spring) is a train wreck waiting to happen. So why are mainstream media outlets not reporting the truth about what is occurring in Iraq? The answer put plainly is the upcoming 2012 Presidential election. The media is going to great lengths to protect their favorite candidate;President Obama from political criticism. The Arab Spring is an insane US foreign policy invented by this President and his advisers and yet the only place you get to see a real discussion of its' implications for our health and well being is on the Internet. How crazy is that???
