I'm back!!! I've been on a family vacation. During my absence, I was hoping, in the spirit of the Jewish New Year, that world events would improve for the United States and Israel. Unfortunately, Israel and the United States are in more trouble than ever.

I was reading that Vice President Joe Biden is blocking the release of Johnathan Pollard while at the same time courting Jewish voters for the 2012 Presidential election. This guy is an idiot!!! Keeping Pollard in prison is a huge miscarriage of justice. Then I'm reading that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta thinks that Israel is increasingly being isolated in the Middle East while on a trip to Israel to discuss defense matters between the two countries. How incredibly stupid is that??? Instead of bolstering our one true military ally in the Middle East; he is joining in the chorus of Israel haters who know that the only chance to gain concessions from Israel on forming the new Palestinian country is to bully Israel through a cleverly constructed public relations campaign. All the closet anti-Semites in the world, including Biden and Panetta, are trying very hard to punish Israel and appease the Muslim countries in the Middle East by forcing Israel to make concessions that are wrong and unjust. Is this any way for high level American officials to behave? I think not.

By the way, I think that it is long overdue that President Obama publicly declare America's support for a united Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. The United States should forcefully move to take this issue off the negotiating table between Israel and the Palestinians. Once this is done, peace between the two peoples could happen and the long sought after two state solution could become a reality.

Finally, after reading the above cited analysis, I hope that you will see why weakening Israel by appeasing Muslim countries is a stupid ethical and military foreign policy position for the United States. The Muslim plan, after eliminating Israel, is to eliminate the strongest non-Muslim country in the world; namely the United States.
