Israel has always guarded the rights of all religions to have access to their places of worship. That cannot be said of others who have in their history controlled access to significant religious places of worship in Jerusalem. For this reason alone, the United States should immediately declare Jerusalem as the "Capitol of Israel".
President Obama Should be out front in once and for all making Israel's claim to control all of Jerusalem the permanent position of the United States. In this way the President can demonstrate his real support for Israel and finally bring about a speedy resolution to the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict.
